End of School Year Message:
Today, we usher in the end of the 2015-2016 school year and with it I sit in reflection of what has transpired in the course of this academic year. We have seen tremendous operational growth, student achievement and community engagement. It is a wonderful time to be at New Frontiers Charter School District.
We have, and will continue to, focus on providing quality education that empowers our students to achieve. Our students are on path to excellence. Each of them have the opportunity to enter college as high school freshman through our college immersion program. We stand resolved that our Elementary and Middle school will prepare each student for this journey and we remain committed to growing this opportunity district-wide.
Our successes and growth could not be achieved this year without the dedication of our parents, administrators, teachers and staff, and community partners. What we set out to do each year is no easy feat. Making academic gains that propel our students forward often requires long hours, extraordinary commitment and at times – shear will. On behalf of our young aspiring minds, I thank you.
Parents, we entrust that you will continue to support your child’s learning by encouraging them to read over the summer and by taking the time to explore our city’s rich history and landscape that is full of real-world classroom opportunities. Teachers and staff, we encourage you to reflect on this academic year and return re-inspired to cultivate our community’s next generation of leaders. Community partners, we will be in touch with you to discuss how you can be a part of our vision of the future.
As you enjoy your summer, remember that while many of our grade levels are waitlisted there remain some opportunities for additional families to be served by our district – namely in kindergarten and first grade. Please spread the word to your friends and families about how our schools are providing quality, innovative public education to our community.
On behalf of the entire New Frontiers family, we wish you a safe and memorable summer!
