Deanne Sanchez

I was born in the small rural town, St. Hedwig, just outside the San Antonio city limits.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Art from Our Lady of the Lake University.  I was a 2nd grade classroom teacher for five years before returning back to Our Lady of the Lake to pursue a Master of Education degree with a Principal Certification.  I served as a Principal for a Catholic School for five years.  This is my fourth year at New Frontiers, serving for two years in the Middle School department instructing Math and then last year as an Instructional Facilitator.

I am excited to this year to be part of the Instructional Leadership Team with a focus on Behavior Intervention.  My goal is to support students, families, and classroom teachers, in the development of effective instructional and behavioral strategies that will enable all students to become lifelong learners, productive citizens, and problem solvers within their communities.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband taking small roadtrips in Texas and exploring different locations around the United States.  I also love to oil paint and participate in community service activities.

I look forward to working along with parents and faculty to help our students be successful.
